Economy
I know that our economy is struggling, and I want to do something about it. That’s why I’ll be pushing legislation that will help businesses get back on their feet and create jobs. I’ll push for new tax credits for businesses who hire veterans or learning workers, because I believe that we need to do everything we can to help our economy recover.
Education
I believe that every student deserves a fair and equal chance at a quality education. I’ll work to make sure that our public schools are funded fairly and that adults can continue their professional training without being burdened by debt. With my experience in business and education, I know that I can make a real difference in our state
Veterans’ Health Care
As a veteran, I know firsthand the importance of quality VA care. I’ll always fight to improve the VA and make it more accessible for all our veterans. I’ll oppose measures to privatize the VA and any other policies that would put veterans’ healthcare at risk. We’ll work across the aisle to expand VA clinics, including mobile clinics for veterans in rural communities.
